Bibio “Kaini Industries”

“Kaini Industries” is the shortest but a the same time one of the brightest moments of epic Boards of Canada “Music Has The Right To Children” LP. If original 1 minute version is not enough for You there is a 10 minute one on Youtube to fullfil Your desiers. There is also the version I present here performed by Bibio.  It was published on “Warp20 Recreated” LP released on the occasion of 20 years of Warp Records.

And Kaini Industries played on guitars and piano sounds stunning too.

Filter “Take A Picture” (Hybrid Mix)

The original of Filter’s song is, let’s say…, OK, but it’s just another american band tune with pretentious video targeted to college students. But in Hybrid mix is a different story – it sounds like Trent Reznor and Fluke mixed it together and gave it some industrial touch combined with broken beats straigh from mid ’90.
This version is a part of a soundtrack to “Valentine” film from 2001.

Modeselektor “This” (feat. Thom Yorke)

When I heard that Modeselektor‘s and Thom Yorke‘s paths a going to cross I knew it’s going to be something interestning. Not necessarly beautiful, becouse I expected something very wierd and hard to swallow. Happily we recived something really good and I like it a lot. I wasn’t waiting for anything positive and optimistic considering York’s contribution but worrisome synths and beat combined with Thom’s processed vocals in this track are very  addictive.

From Monkeytown LP (2011).
