After divorce of Kruder&Dorfmeister, the second one started with Tosca, and Peter Kruder created Peace Orchestra. One of the most known tunes of PE:

Amon Tobin “Nightlife”
Hooverphonic “2Wicky”
For me, it will always remind me stunning Bretolucci’s “Stealing Beauty”…
The soundtrack is as good as film.
Tricky “You Don’t”
If I were to choose 10 best albums I have ever heard, Tricky’s “Maxinquaye” would be on this list. Former member of Wild Bunch and Massive Attack made trip-hop precious which seems to be one of the most important albums of ’90.
Sofa Surfers “Can I Get A Witness” (Thievery Corporation Rmx)
A great piece of downtempo made by Sofa Surefers with a little help from Thievery Corporation. Enjoy:
Portishead “Glory Box”
Morcheeba “Who Can You Trust”
Jazzanova “Another New Day”
Saltillo “A Simple Test”
Saltillo’s “Ganglion” is one of the best albums I’ve heard within last few years. Saltillo is a project of an american multinstrumetalist Menton J. Matthews, who is also a member of very interesting trip-hop band Sunday Munic. It is recommended to listen this album on decent audiophile stereo system – it’s extremly well recorded and it can show You how Your speakers can move the air.
Gus Gus “Superhuman”
In ’90 Gus Gus was for me one of the most interesting downtempo/elctronica groups. They started as 9 people band and began with a great “Polydistortion” album, then came also very good “This is Normal” (from which this track is). After there was very different from previous releases “Gus Gus vs. T-World” – very ambient and techno in sound, which confirmed that they still can suprise very well.
More contemporary productions aren’t that sophisticated. The band counts only 3 person (Veiran, President Bongo and Herb Legowitz) and remains more in dance ambiance. Some of their tunes are still worth of a look, but this is not what I would like Gus Gus to be.
