Faithless split up
Sad news today. After 15 years Faithless split up. No more Rollo, Sister Bliss and Maxi Jazz together on stage. They defined some important paths in dance music and trip-hop. Really big loss.
The group will play their final show at London’s O2 Academy Brixton on April 8.
And here track that propably has the biggest number of remixes ever…
Parov Stelar “Homesick” (Club mix)
Underworld “Two Months Off” (Grayarea’s Four Years Off Remix)
Calvin Harris “I’m Not Alone” (Tiësto Remix)
Well, sometimes I have a weakness to this kind of music. My fascination about trance and house went away in late ’90, but I like to listen to 4/4 beat from time to time. It’s not sophisticated ;-) but it has big amount of energy which You can take from it. In fact it’s not to far from some disco disaster, but it’s not there yet.
I’m not a fan of Calvin Harris or Tiësto, but this track has some nice “booster” factor I realy like.
Orbital “Halcyon On and On”
The Prodigy “Poison”
Music For The Jilted Generation is one of the most important albums of the ’90 and this is one of the best tunes on it. I hope You agree. Don’t You?
Underworld “King Of Snake” (live)
If You don’t belive that live album of electronic band can be good, try “Everything, Everything” by Underworld. From this album “King Of Snake”:
Josh Wink “Higher State of Consciousness”
Another absolute classic from dancefloors. This time from trance scene. In Poland we called it, not without a reason, “The Dentist”.
Depeche Mode “Only When I Lose Myself” – 2 Remixes
One of the best Depeche Mode tracks in progressive house mix:
And here in REALY good Simuck Breaks Mix:
