I don’t like exaltation, but Disco Inferno is just awesome. They could be the younger, not so depressive, friends of Joy Division. Look for their “In Debt” album – it’s definitely worth of seeking.

Saltillo “A Simple Test”
Saltillo’s “Ganglion” is one of the best albums I’ve heard within last few years. Saltillo is a project of an american multinstrumetalist Menton J. Matthews, who is also a member of very interesting trip-hop band Sunday Munic. It is recommended to listen this album on decent audiophile stereo system – it’s extremly well recorded and it can show You how Your speakers can move the air.
Zan Lyons “Serial Killer Stories”
Zan Lyons is not well known, but he will…
Nas ? “Nas Is Like” (Camo & Krooked Remix)
Nice mix of hip-hop & drum’n’bass ingridients:
Gus Gus “Superhuman”
In ’90 Gus Gus was for me one of the most interesting downtempo/elctronica groups. They started as 9 people band and began with a great “Polydistortion” album, then came also very good “This is Normal” (from which this track is). After there was very different from previous releases “Gus Gus vs. T-World” – very ambient and techno in sound, which confirmed that they still can suprise very well.
More contemporary productions aren’t that sophisticated. The band counts only 3 person (Veiran, President Bongo and Herb Legowitz) and remains more in dance ambiance. Some of their tunes are still worth of a look, but this is not what I would like Gus Gus to be.
