Orbital “The Box”
From fantastic “In Sides” album:
Buckshot Lefonque “Music Evolution”
Sometimes when jazz meets hip-hop it gives very tasty fusion. Buckshot Lefonque is such a case.
Radiohead “How To Disappear Completely”
My Bloody Valentine “I Only Said”
And a little bit more noise. Good noise.
On!Air!Library! “Bread”
The On!Air!Library! life was very short. They recorded only 2 albums (“A Lifetime Or More” and On!Air!Library!) and split in 2004 after few years on the scene. This New York band made up of twin sisters (Alley and Claudia Deheza) and Phillip Wann played a realy good stuff. They combined nice melodies with some noise, atmosphere, effects with influence of contemporary rock bands and old classics like Velvet Underground.
And this contrast between twin-voice and sometimes harsh indie vibe sounded realy well:
Flunk “See Through You”
And another scandinavian (this time Norwegian) lazy sounds from Flunk:
Múm “We Have A Map Of The Piano”
Josh Wink “Higher State of Consciousness”
Another absolute classic from dancefloors. This time from trance scene. In Poland we called it, not without a reason, “The Dentist”.
Freak Power “Can You Feel It”
Funk, big beat, acid jazz and a lot of groove from Norman Cook (better known as Fatboy Slim) and friends. Unfortunately poor quality here.
