Music For The Jilted Generation is one of the most important albums of the ’90 and this is one of the best tunes on it. I hope You agree. Don’t You?

Mandalay “Insensible”
When everybody was waiting for new Portishead album, suddenly rumor appeard, that material finally has been released. The album was realy good and in Portishead guise, but You could hear that it is not Beth Gibbons singing. In fact it was a Mandalay album “Solace”, but gossips were so strong that Portishead had to officialy deny, that it is their music.
I think it was quite unjust story for Mandalay becuse their music was really good but unfortunetely covered by disapointment that “it is not Portishead”. Below my favourite track from this album:
65daysofstatic “Radio Protector”
Lamb “Angelica”
The Streets “Weak Become Heroes” (Röyksopp’s memory lane mix)
Poor quality here, but it’s a great remix of great track from The Streets. One of my favourite house dacefloor killers. A proper weekend starter. Loud listening recommended ;-)
Bill Laswell “Kashi”
Empire Of The Sun “We Are The People”
PFM “One & Only”
One of the best drum’n’ bass tunes I have ever heard from fantastic Logical Progression series (Level One) released by Good Looking Records in 1996…
Pulp “This Is Hardcore”
This is real hardcore…
Aphex Twin “Avril 14th”
Aphex Twin playing like Eric Satie. Simply beautiful…
(Thanks F. ;-)
